The new Fire Headquarters facility will replace the community’s antiquated headquarters in Woburn’s south end and provide living quarters, an auditorium, training tower, space for ambulances and fire vehicles and a separate repair building. Located on 3.15 acres, the site accommodates 47 parking spaces and access to city parkland to the north. A memorial bell and dedication memorial, located at other fire stations in the City, will be relocated to the new headquarters.
Brown + Sardina prepared alternative site development concepts and provided design services through construction observation for vehicular circulation and parking, pedestrian paving, grading and planting.
