Construction is underway on a unified campus with a new 233,000 square foot combined middle/high school building, district office building, 800 seat stadium, baseball/multipurpose field, plazas, outdoor teaching areas and parking for 430 cars. Located on 60 acres, the site is the current location of separate middle and high school buildings. Brown + Sardina’s scope included preparing alternative site plans for the campus and services through construction administration for the entire site.

The entry plaza includes an circular outdoor classroom green, a da Vinci outdoor demonstration classroom adjacent to the STEM program and a series of circular stone seatwalls that provide security for the plaza and building. A courtyard at the rear of the building serves as and outdoor classroom for the art program. Rain gardens that clean storm water have been integrated into the design to create significant open space while providing education opportunities for the schools environmental studies program.
